• Who will be featured?
The blog will not be limited to any one craft area. Most of those featured will be small or emerging sellers. However, more established artists may also be considered depending on the situation.
• Contacting me for consideration
If you are interested in being featured on this blog contact me via e-mail at:
fiddlelee@optonline.net
I will send you a list of questions to consider. Once you e-mail back your response (following the quality criteria below) I will give you an estimate of when your feature will appear.
• Quality text and how to submit your information
I am looking for good writing and interesting content. You do not have to be the world's best wordsmith, but please keep your English clear! I will NOT use text that is sent to me LoOKinG lIKe ThIs. Write so people will want to continue reading about your shop. Take a little time to use proper grammar, it will go a long way.
Once you contact me for consideration I will send you a list of questions. You may decide to keep this list and format your article interview style (my original question followed by your answer) or you can write a few paragraphs in which you answer the majority of the questions within the text. If you choose this last method please note that it should be written in the third person (so it doesn't sound like you're rambling about yourself).
Say as much about yourself as you desire! This is your show. You're in the spotlight. If there are things you wish to talk about that I have no mentioned in my general list of questions please feel free to include.
• Photos
All photos must be clear! I ask that you select at least 2 photos showing your work. If a photo of you, your workspace, or family is important to your entry than include that as well. Keep in mind that I will most likely not use more than 4 or 5 photos.
I prefer that you send me the direct link to your photo. However, if you do not have an image hosting account you may send .jpgs directly to my e-mail, but please don't make them too large.
